Thanks to Imperial Enterprise Lab, we were given a great opportunity to represent Imperial Science at the Annual Meeting of the New Champions held in Tianjin from 18 - 20 September 2018. Organized by The World Economic Forum, this global summit on innovation, science and technology promotes entrepreneurship in the global public interest. Its theme this year was “Building an Innovative Society in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

Represented by our Process Development Manager, Wen Li, we participated in the global summit as part of Imperial College London’s start-up delegation visit to China, where we were introduced to China’s broad market and its excellent entrepreneurial environment.
We also visited Shenzhen - a megacity, with a booming economy and home to some of China’s most exciting start-ups and global corporations. The Imperial College alumni association have made us feel so welcome and their tour of entrepreneurial hotspots in the city including, the world’s first and largest hardware accelerator HAX, the OPPO Shenzhen HQ, Caogen Venture Capital and the Konka Group which culminated in a pitch night in collaboration with Startup Grind.
