As part of the country’s first ever Green Great Britain week, Greenovate presented the brightest discoveries of sustainable technology and gave visitors a peek into a future of greener living.
We were excited to share about our technology whilst being surrounded by other like-minded individuals working to address major environmental issues. It was good to see an interested audience attending the event. We enjoyed raising awareness among outspoken students, visitors, professors and retirees about Responsible Research & Innovation from a spinout perspective and the emerging concern of PFAS.

CustoMem’s Granular Media (CGM)
Speaking after exhibiting at the event, our CEO Henrik said:
“From the very inception of CustoMem when we represented Imperial College at the world’s biggest synthetic biology science competition in 2014, we’ve been integrating Responsible Research & Innovation into everything we do.
Fast forward 4 years and it’s an honour to be able to return to Imperial. The informal format of tonight’s event makes it an ideal breeding ground to really engage stakeholders and together brainstorm about how we can maximise the impact of our work.”
