Nurturing the next generation of synthetic biologists with SynBIC

October 26, 2018

Henrik Hagemann, our CEO, retraced our footsteps at Imperial College London with SynBIC at its latest seminar on biomaterials. We shared on how biomaterials played a significant role in our journey from representing Imperial at iGEM 2014 to becoming a dedicated team of 8 at CustoMem.

Speaking after the event, Henrik said: "It is always a pleasure to return to CustoMem's breeding ground at Imperial College, and very encouraging to meet the new generation of Imperial bioengineers. I revel in their enthusiasm and look forward to contribute to the London biotech ecosystem on future occasions."

It was an honour to present alongside the excellent Ben Almquist and we are happy to work with SynBIC to inspire and nurture the next generation of synthetic biologists.
