Flexible Commerical Models
Standalone PFAS Treatment
Where PFAS removal is the primary treatment objective, Puraffinity can be deployed as a standalone solution. This configuration is designed for sites requiring dedicated PFAS treatment without broader process modification.
Polishing Existing Treatment Systems
Puraffinity can be integrated as a compact polishing step within existing treatment trains, including downstream of GAC or ion exchange systems, to reliably achieve PFAS compliance.
This approach enables:
• Minimal footprint additions
• Improved regulatory performance
• Optimised use of existing infrastructure
Pilot Services
To support validation under site-specific conditions, Puraffinity offers bespoke pilot units designed specifically for our adsorbent media.
Pilot capabilities include:
• Flow rates from 0.5 to 3 m³/hr (configurable to site requirements)
• Pre-filled vessels operated in series, parallel, or bypass
• Online monitoring of flow rate, total treated volume, and pressure
• Full pilot documentation, including P&IDs and operating manuals
Pilot units are available on a rental basis, with pricing provided upon request.
Engineering & Design Support
Our engineering team works closely with customers and partners to ensure each system is correctly designed for real-world operating conditions.
The process typically includes:
• Review of water matrix data, including PFAS species and concentrations, TOC, and existing treatment configuration
• Input of site data into Puraffinity’s in-house performance models
• Design recommendations covering empty bed contact time (EBCT), media lifespan, and system sizing
Based on project needs, customers may proceed directly to full-scale design or undertake pilot testing for further validation.
